Here, we dispense with the hype about self-publishing. The emerging opportunities beyond exclusive book markets are exciting. But I hope it becomes clear rather quickly that we're more interested in the process of writing than the products and packaging.
When we connect with our stories, we end up finding excellent books. I prefer to coach behind the scenes, to teach critiquing and evaluating our work, and to help connect writers with the support system they need.
YWG is about developing the whole writer, far beyond what's available in a typical writing or publishing community.
I've been an editor and taught at Christian writer’s conferences and retreats for years. I enjoy inspiring writers to give their all to their stories, to recharge, and to grab their great opportunity. In the forum, we discuss and share inspiring stories and we post 10 pages a month for critique as we develop our critiquing skills.
